The Operating Partners are not active in day-to-day operations of our portfolio businesses, but oversee the strategic direction and consult with our managers in order to obtain the common goal: the creation of value.  To this end, we offer our managers access to a full range of strategic, technical and business advice grounded in a commitment to provide objective, fresh ideas.  TGMG applies relevant experience and skills to strengthen operations, improve financially and reduce risk. 

The Operating Partners of TGMG invest substantially in every transaction.  Our investor group consists of a small and select group of like-minded investors who are invited to join us in our ventures.

When making investments, we:

• Target established small to middle-market companies with dependable revenue streams and growth potential
• Actively seek to purchase divestitures, viable stand-alone divisions or subsidiaries of larger enterprises
• Avoid operating turnarounds and start ups
• Focus on situations where our capital and business expertise, experience and contacts can assist in the due diligence process and  make a significant difference in a company’s growth and profitability of acquired companies
• Invest only in friendly transactions in which senior management is making a financial commitment that is personally significant
• Structure and employ incentive compensation plans that powerfully motivate management to achieve their operating objectives by offering entrepreneurial-size rewards
• Capitalize companies with sufficient equity to support growth while prudently leveraging the firm to provide an optimal risk-adjusted return
• Complete only transactions in which the Operating Partners of TGMG invest substantial personal capital directly in the equity of a prospective portfolio company
• Purchase full or majority interests in privately held enterprises - We also consider combined majority investments with additional backers
• Pay reasonable and customary finder's fees for completed referrals
